so i had this conversation with two of my filipino co-workers today...there were three of us in the stockroom doing shipment..

Conversation #1:
co-worker1: do you watch filipino movies?
me: not really..the last filipino movie i saw was "one more chance"
co-worker: oh okay...
....and so he mentions a lot of filipino movies that i know but i wasn't able to watch..e.g. inang yaya, a love story, d'anothers......
co-worker2: i bet i know more filipino movies than you do.
me: i guess...
*co-worker2 moved to canada when he was a kid so he's more of a canadian than a filipino

Conversation #2
co-worker1: do you like RNB, hiphop?
me: NO
coworker1: how about filipino singers?
co-worker2: do you listen to MYMP?
me: not really (HELL NO! kidding hehe..)
co-worker1: how about paolo santos?
me: no sorry
co-worker1: gary valenciano?
me: no
co-worker1: are you kidding me?
co-worker2: DAMN! you're like the "whitest" filipino i ever met.
co-worker1: HAHAHHAHA...YEAH!
me: O_o (speechless)

i am not white. i mean..they didn't even mention some filipino bands or whatever. if they did that..then i wouldn't be so "white".
